GEA maintains a fleet of 8 sit-in kayaks including one tandem, along with paddles and life jackets, allowing for flexible scheduling and small-group experiences across multiple waterways. Equipment transportation and on-site setup are handled through a mobile trailer system, with all rentals and lessons offered by appointment only for convenient launch-site meetups.

Kayaking Services

Kayaking trips may be planned between 10:00 AM and ending at 8:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time Monday through Saturday. All kayaks must be off the water by 8 PM.  Sunday hours start at Noon, ending at 8:00 PM. GEA normally operates from May - October, weather dependent.

Pricing:

Rental Rates for Twin Lakes, price per kayak (Pricing varies for other locations)

  • 1 Hour — $20

  • 2 Hours — $35

  • 3 Hours — $50

Instructional Lessons

  • Certified Instruction — $10 per hour

Weather Policy / Rescheduling

If there is thunder and lightning, no kayaking can take place, this is a critical safety issue. Kayak launching may take place if there has been no thunder for 30 minutes. If it is raining heavily on the scheduled day of the trip, you may elect to reschedule or cancel (full refund if you cancel). If it is a very light rain / drizzle, the trip will proceed as planned, it is OK to paddle in light rain / occasional drizzle. GEA will be monitoring the weather and communicate with you to determine the appropriate action.

Payment Methods / Cancellation Policy

Payment is required at the time of booking. GEA accepts Zelle and Venmo. A full refund will be issued if you cancel 24 hours in advance of the booking date.
